Kaida Izumi (海田 いずみ?) is one of the five main characters of Kingdom Animalia Pretty Cure!. Her alter ego is Cure Pisces (キュア パイシズ?), who represents fish.

Appearance[]
As Izumi, she has deep blue hair that she wears long with a side bun. She usually wears a pink and blue dress with pink rhinestone buttons on the top. The skirt is done in a "patchwork" pattern of pink and seafoam. She also wears tall striped socks and pink boots.

Personality[]
Izumi is a girl who is... not on the same level of reality as her teammates sometimes. She is very imaginative, and loves to read and write. She's also very peppy and happy-go-lucky, and will go out of her way to cheer someone up.

Etymology[]
Kaida (海田?)-Kai (海?) means "ocean", and da (田?) means "rice paddy". It is a very common suffix when dealing with Japanese last names.
Izumi (いずみ?) means "fountain"[1]

Cure Pisces[]
Cure Pisces (キュア パイシズ?) is Izumi's alter ego. To transform, she needs her Classi Core and to shout "Pretty Cure, Animalia Code!.
